Prescot Reservoirs,
The 1st w med gull was present again this morning in the nw corner of no4 reservoir before flying off towards the safari park. The pochard are now at 35 with about 150 tufted duck. 100+ coot, 6 little grebe 2 ad and4 juvs, 4 great crested grebe,2 cormorants, 60 lapwing and 3 buzzards also today.
Hummingbird hawk moth in the garden again today . I caught this micro moth(above) in the trap last night. It is only about 5mm long but still a very striking moth.
